The ice on Kineras bay is breaking up.  Winter returns tomorrow with up to 2" of snow and cold  in the forecast.  That will halt the melting for a few days.  Taken Apr.27/18

I found 10" of soft white ice here on Five Mile Bay off Dunroe Is.  The ice has many snow drifts about 6'" high which made for slow going.  If the weather forcast holds this should be gone around the end of next week.  Taken Apr.18/18

I passed the contractor boat heading out to check the ice approaching Three Mile Point.  Taken Apr.18/18
