Checking the ice at Smith's Point on Five Mile Bay.  I found 6" of Black ice here.  Taken Jan.3/18

This is looking a Dunroe Island near the middle of Five Mile Bay.  I found 6" of black ice here with 1" of crusty snow on top.  I made it all the way into Point Pleasant Marina.  The portages are in decent shape.  Taken Jan.3/18
