Snow squalls on Five Mile Bay. Still only 4" of ice in the center. taken Feb.10/16
I bought the scoot and modernized the aircraft engine by replacing both magnetos with dual electronic ignition and a new 3 blade carbon fiber propeller. I got stuck yesterday at Point Pleasant in slush. I carry a snow shovel on board and spent half an hour shoveling the slush to make a run way. It also doesn't like moving on cold dry snow like when the snow crunches when walked on. My biggest fear is getting stuck on thin ice.
