This shows Five Mile Bay looking west with Dunroe in the foreground.
I was into town today by boat for the first time this spring.  There is no ice on the south channel from Beauty Island to town.  This will be the last post until freeze up next fall.  There are over 1600 photos on this blog that you can access.  Click on the year and click on "older posts" at the bottom of each page.  Taken Apr.30/14

    Thank you for posting so many photos. I check regularly for updates, especially as the ice forms and again as it thaws. Not being there, it's great to have your pictures depicting winter in our much loved south channel area. Have a good summer! Sue Graham, Spider Bay.
