I was into town today by boat. The channel is clear of ice as far out as Redner Bay. This is a picture of Five Mile Bay looking west toward Dunroe Island. This will be the last post until when freeze up starts next fall. Taken Apr.21/15
This photo shows ice blocking the channel between Redner Bay and Amanda Island. It should be gone within a few days. Taken Apr.21/15
This photo show Redner Bay still covered with candle ice. Taken Apr.21/15
Here is the remaining ice in Kineras Bay. It is presently snow showering. Taken Apr.21/15

This series of pictures was taken on my way back out to Kineras Bay, seven miles out by scoot. Here is the scoot loaded up with a week of supplies at Point Pleasant Marina.
Here is the approach to the swing bridge.
Here is two guys on Parry Island launching a boat to see whats biting.
Here is Glen Burney Marina.
This is the approach to the Two Mile Narrows.
Here is the entrance to Five Mile Bay.
The range on Dunroe Island is ahead. Notice the fresh snowmobile tracks heading out.
There are two Ospreys on the nest.
Here is the range on Milton Island.
This is the approach to the seven Mile Narrows.
I think this is a hovercraft at Craganmor. Sorry guys but the Restaurant isn't open yet. Although I show lots of blue water there is still probably 20" of ice in many places. The channel will probably not be open till near the end of April. Taken Apr.7/15
