Here are some pictures from the Spider Bay forest fire. The fire is located on the point at the mouth of the Spider River. It is a ground fire of about 30 hectares. There was no property damage. The MNR is on scene getting it under control. Taken Nov.15/16

Hi Brent. Thank you for sharing these photos. My brother and his son happened to be at their cottage on Spider Bay and were on the scene with the fire crew. They learned that the regular crews had been laid off as this is not normally considered fire season. The group they rounded up were desk workers who volunteered. We are all appreciative of their efforts!
